Although the Hamina Tattoo has been canceled for this summer, the Tattoo Run will take place as planned. The day is the traditional Saturday of the Tattoo, August 7th, and the start and finish will be located at Tervasaari near the Customs Warehouse. The winner of the first Tattoo Run in the men's half marathon was Markus Hämäläinen. The former Hamina Half Marathon, now with a new name and route, attracted 55 athletes in its first year, of which 36 chose the 21.1-kilometer half marathon and 19 opted for the 10-kilometer race.
